•  1 February 1986 Jal Chemicals Pty Ltd commenced business with 6 employees, servicing industrial manufacturing sector from a shared premises Kolora Rd Heidelberg

•  1989 moved to own premises at 10-12 Raglan St Preston with a workforce of 15 employees

•  1990 opened a branch in WA Perth with 1 person

•  1993 Opened branch and commenced business in Adelaide again with 1 person

•  1999 purchase a small speciality chemical company ‘Plus Gas’ servicing the mining industries

•  2001 purchased ‘Shamrock Chemicals’ in Adelaide

•  2003 the opportunity arisen by the death of the founder of Peerless Emulsion which was established in 1947, to purchase Peerless Emulsion which became a corner stone of the business into the future, now with 9 branches and 100 personnel and still growing

•  October 2003 the name was changed to Peerless Jal Pty Ltd to reflect the importance of the Peerless Emulsion history and influence over the new identity

•  The extension of the site at Raglan Street now complies with all environmental and WorkSafe regulations as well as giving a friendly and open work environment for all our employees, business partners and visitors
